In a Basement
Generally, laminate flooring may be installed in a basement provided
the moisture vapor transmission rate is below 3lbs/1,000 Sq.Ft. in 24 hours,
and conforms to manufacturers product specific installation recommendations.
In an Unheated space
Laminate flooring need to be installed in climatically stable environments,
avoiding extreme temperature swings and excessive humidity such as
garage, cabin and porch.
