Yes, and no. If you spill a glass of water
or a coke on the hardwood floor, you can wipe it up with a paper
towel, and there is no problem with hardwood floor.
But if you spill a gallon of water or drip constantly over time,
the hardwood will get water damage.
You can tell water damages by touching the affected area
with your hand. If you fill rough, warped, or a buckled feeling,
it means it is water-damaged.
